Scaffolding

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Scaffolder.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required.
  • Must possess a valid TESDA NC II Certificate in Scaffolding.
  • Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection, dismantling, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow work instructions.
  • Physically fit and able to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship.
  • Willing to relocate and work in Japan.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to engineering plans, project requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Inspect scaffolding materials and components before installation to ensure they are free from defects and safe for use.
  • Install guardrails, platforms, ladders, toe boards, braces, and other safety accessories.
  • Ensure scaffolding structures are level, stable, properly secured, and capable of supporting required working loads.
  • Perform routine inspections of completed scaffolding and report any damage, defects, or unsafe conditions.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, organizing, and transporting scaffolding materials and equipment.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and efficiently during scaffold erection and dismantling.
  • Follow project specifications, work schedules, and supervisor instructions to complete assignments on time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Comply with Japanese construction regulations, company policies, and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
  • Perform other scaffolding-related duties assigned by management.
