Specialized Industrial Services Co. Ltd. (SISCO) is seeking experienced Sand Blasters to support oil and gas construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing metal and structural surfaces through abrasive blasting to remove rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants prior to coating, painting, or maintenance work while ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

SAND BLASTER

Qualifications:

• Age requirement: 25 to 49 years old.
• Open to first-time applicants and ex-abroad workers.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in oil and gas construction projects.
• Proven experience as a Sand Blaster in construction, industrial, or oil and gas environments.
• Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques, surface preparation standards, and coating requirements.
• Familiarity with sandblasting equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding construction site conditions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting) on steel structures, pipelines, tanks, vessels, and other metal surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by removing rust, old paint, scale, corrosion, and contaminants before coating or painting.
• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment, compressors, hoses, nozzles, and related tools safely.
• Inspect prepared surfaces to ensure they meet project specifications and coating requirements.
• Select the appropriate blasting media and equipment based on the job requirements.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Follow company procedures, client requirements, and oil and gas industry safety standards.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with environmental and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Coordinate with painters, coating inspectors, and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work.
• Perform other surface preparation duties as assigned by the employer.
