Rotating Shop Technician II

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in rotating equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or related fields.
• Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment components, mechanical systems, overhaul procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in equipment inspection, alignment, repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and mechanical workshop practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repair, overhaul, and maintenance activities on rotating equipment and mechanical components.
• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble rotating equipment according to technical specifications.
• Conduct precision measurements, alignment checks, and equipment inspections.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and related machinery.
• Identify mechanical issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Use mechanical tools, precision measuring instruments, and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Review technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Follow company procedures, quality requirements, and industrial safety standards.
