TRAILER TRUCK DRIVER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Truck Driver or in a related heavy-vehicle driving position.
• At least High School Graduate.
• Valid Category C+E (CE) driving license, authorizing the operation of heavy articulated trucks with trailers.
• Experienced in driving heavy trailer trucks on regional or international routes.
• Knowledge of safe heavy-vehicle operation, cargo handling, and load securing procedures.
• Familiarity with EU driving-time, rest-period, and road safety regulations is an advantage.
• Ability to properly operate and use a digital tachograph card.
• Knowledge of cargo weight distribution and proper load-securing techniques.
• Basic English communication skills required for road signs, border clearance, and work-related communication.
• Ability to complete and maintain transport, delivery, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Good knowledge of defensive driving and safe road practices.
• Physically fit and capable of performing duties associated with long-distance and international truck driving.
• Responsible, disciplined, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and manage assigned routes and delivery schedules responsibly.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Category C+E / CE trailer trucks on assigned regional and international routes across EU countries.
• Safely transport cargo while following designated routes, schedules, and delivery instructions.
• Comply strictly with EU Mobility Package regulations, including driving-time limits, mandatory rest periods, and working-time requirements.
• Properly operate and maintain the required digital tachograph card and accurately record driving, rest, and other relevant activities.
• Conduct pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections of the truck, trailer, tires, lights, brakes, and other safety-critical components.
• Report vehicle defects, mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
• Check cargo loading and unloading procedures to ensure goods are handled safely and correctly.
• Secure cargo using appropriate straps, fasteners, chains, or other approved load-securing equipment.
• Verify proper cargo weight distribution to maintain vehicle stability and road safety.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured before departure and remains secure throughout transportation.
• Check delivery documents, transport instructions, and cargo details before and during assigned trips.
• Complete required delivery, transportation, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Follow EU road traffic laws, company transportation policies, and applicable safety regulations.
• Maintain safe speeds and appropriate driving practices according to road and weather conditions.
• Exercise caution when driving through highways, urban areas, border crossings, and unfamiliar routes.
• Assist with or monitor loading and unloading activities when required.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, warehouse personnel, and company representatives regarding deliveries and route requirements.
• Use basic English communication skills for road signs, transportation instructions, border clearance, and work-related communication.
• Maintain the truck and trailer in a clean, orderly, and roadworthy condition.
• Protect cargo from damage, loss, or unauthorized access during transportation.
• Report delays, route problems, traffic incidents, or other circumstances that may affect delivery schedules.
• Observe proper procedures when crossing international borders and comply with customs and transportation requirements.
• Perform other driving, transportation, and delivery-related duties assigned by management.
