PLUMBER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience as a Plumber or in a related field.
• Broad and practical experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Plumbing or a similar field.
• Knowledge of water supply, drainage, piping systems, plumbing fixtures, and basic maintenance.
• Ability to identify plumbing problems and perform appropriate repairs.
• Familiarity with plumbing tools, materials, fittings, pipes, and equipment.
• Hardworking, responsible, and demonstrates good initiative in completing assigned tasks.
• Flexible and capable of performing multiple tasks as required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a maintenance or construction team.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on plumbing work.
• Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality of workmanship.
• Reliable, disciplined, and willing to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Willing to perform other related maintenance duties when required.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Perform plumbing work for water supply, drainage, wastewater, and related piping systems.
• Install and connect pipes, valves, faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify leaks, blockages, damaged pipes, and other problems.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and perform appropriate repairs and corrective work.
• Repair or replace defective pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
• Conduct pressure and leakage checks to ensure plumbing systems are functioning properly.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, join, and install pipes according to required specifications.
• Read and follow plumbing drawings, plans, specifications, and work instructions.
• Use plumbing hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and correctly.
• Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies and urgent repair requirements.
• Ensure proper installation and secure connections to prevent leaks and water damage.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas during and after plumbing activities.
• Properly handle and store plumbing tools, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Report major plumbing defects, safety hazards, and repair requirements to supervisors.
• Coordinate with other workers and maintenance personnel when performing plumbing tasks.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, company policies, and proper plumbing practices.
• Assist with other maintenance-related tasks when required.
• Perform multiple assigned duties efficiently according to operational requirements.
• Perform other plumbing and maintenance duties assigned by management.
