ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / INSTALLATION ENGINEER
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical engineering, installation, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or a similar field.
- Experience in high-rise building projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) electrical systems.
- Experience and knowledge in Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and their installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience or knowledge in Control Systems.
- Knowledge of CCTV and Security Systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, inspection, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Good technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, technicians, engineers, and other project personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction or building project environment.
- Good communication, coordination, organization, and time-management skills.
- Responsible, hardworking, and capable of taking initiative in resolving technical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor electrical installation activities for building and construction projects.
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) electrical systems.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, layouts, schematics, and technical documents before and during installation.
- Ensure electrical installations are completed according to approved plans, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Supervise electrical works for high-rise buildings and other major building projects.
- Inspect electrical installations, wiring, equipment, panels, cables, and related components for proper installation and functionality.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, technicians, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor the progress and quality of electrical installation works and address technical issues promptly.
- Assist in testing and commissioning electrical systems and equipment before project handover.
- Work with Building Management Systems (BMS) and ensure proper integration and operation of building electrical and control systems.
- Support the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems.
- Work with electrical control systems and assist in diagnosing control-related issues.
- Coordinate the installation and integration of CCTV and security systems.
- Inspect system connections, wiring, equipment, and installations to identify defects, faults, or non-compliance.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system problems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure proper documentation of installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with project management and other engineering teams regarding technical requirements and installation schedules.
- Monitor the proper use of electrical materials, tools, and equipment at the project site.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, project requirements, company procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
- Conduct or assist with site inspections and identify potential electrical hazards.
- Implement safe working practices during electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Assist in resolving technical problems that may affect project quality, schedule, or system performance.
- Prepare or review reports, checklists, test results, and other technical documentation as required.
- Perform other electrical engineering, installation, and project-related duties assigned by management.
