Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced Roof Tiler to install concrete roof tiles on new-build residential housing projects. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards while working at heights.
ROOF TILER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience installing concrete roof tiles on pitched roofs, preferably on new-build residential projects.
- Strong understanding of roof layouts, tiling patterns, bonding, and weatherproofing techniques.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a construction team.
Responsibilities:
- Install concrete roof tiles on pitched roofs according to project specifications and architectural drawings.
- Set out roof layouts, tiling patterns, and bonding to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality.
- Ensure proper weatherproofing, including underlays, flashings, and ridge installation.
- Inspect work to identify and rectify any defects or misalignment.
- Maintain safety while working at heights and follow site-specific safety protocols.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely and quality completion of roofing works.
- Maintain tools, materials, and equipment in good working condition.
