Apparel Trading Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily restaurant operations in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will supervise and develop front-of-house or kitchen teams, oversee floor operations and customer service, optimize restaurant workflow, and assist management with operational decision-making.
ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a restaurant, hotel, or supervisory role in a casual or fine-dining setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience managing front-of-house and/or kitchen operations.
- Good knowledge of customer service and restaurant workflow.
- Skills in basic accounting, labor scheduling, and inventory tracking.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Responsible, professional, and customer-focused.
Responsibilities:
- Train, motivate, supervise, and manage front-of-house and/or kitchen teams.
- Assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Oversee floor control, customer service, and daily restaurant workflow.
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service, cashier, and other restaurant teams.
- Monitor customer service standards and respond professionally to customer concerns.
- Optimize workflow and staff deployment to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in making important operational decisions during daily restaurant activities.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales, service, and operational targets.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules according to business requirements.
- Monitor attendance, staffing levels, and employee performance.
- Assist with inventory tracking and monitor restaurant supplies.
- Apply basic accounting principles in monitoring restaurant transactions and expenses.
- Monitor food service, cleanliness, safety, and overall restaurant standards.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations are followed.
- Assist in staff training, coaching, and performance development.
- Identify operational problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Prepare or assist with operational reports when required.
- Perform other restaurant management duties as assigned.
