Pacific International Hospital is seeking a highly qualified Registrar – Obstetric & Gynecology to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage obstetric and gynecological conditions, provide high-quality patient care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the best clinical outcomes.

REGISTRAR OBSTETRIC & GYNECOLOGY

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of working experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or a related specialty.
• Must hold a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Examination).
• Must possess a Medical Degree with specialization in Gynecology.
• Must have a valid medical license to practice as a Gynecologist.
• Previous experience working as a Gynecologist or Registrar is required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach to healthcare.
• Willing to work in Papua New Guinea.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and manage obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Provide prenatal, antenatal, postnatal, and gynecological care to patients.
• Assist in and perform obstetric and gynecological procedures as required within the scope of practice.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and develop appropriate treatment and care plans.
• Collaborate with consultants, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy care, family planning, and preventive healthcare.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and clinical standards.
