Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Coordinator to oversee and coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities for construction projects in Mozambique. The successful candidate will ensure that all project activities comply with approved quality procedures, project specifications, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

QA/QC COORDINATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in QA/QC coordination, quality assurance, or quality control within construction, industrial, or engineering projects.
  Bachelor’s/College Degree in a related field or a similar discipline.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and applicable construction codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong organizational, communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality documentation systems.
• Experience in EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, power plant, or heavy industrial construction projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with approved quality procedures, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, and inspection schedules prior to work execution.
• Coordinate with project engineers, construction supervisors, QA/QC inspectors, subcontractors, clients, and third-party inspectors regarding inspection and testing activities.
• Monitor inspection and testing progress to ensure work is performed in accordance with approved procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure all quality records, inspection reports, material certificates, and test results are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Track non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
• Participate in internal audits, site quality surveillance, and client quality meetings.
• Provide technical support and guidance on QA/QC requirements to project teams.
• Prepare periodic QA/QC reports and maintain quality documentation in accordance with the project’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Perform other quality coordination duties assigned by management.
