Process Engineer

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Bachelor’s / College Degree holder in Engineering or similar fields.
• Must have experience in water technologies industries and desalination plant.
• Extensive experience in designing, monitoring, optimizing, and improving wastewater treatment processes within Sewage Treatment Plants (STP).
• Strong technical expertise in preparing, reviewing, and coordinating engineering activities related to technical office works, design development, and project execution within water and wastewater facilities.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments specific to wastewater treatment processes.
• Familiarity with managing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Ability to support the integration of field instruments, PLC/RTU systems, communication networks, and control interfaces.
• Good analytical, technical problem-solving, and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, monitor, optimize, and improve wastewater treatment processes to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate all technical engineering activities related to technical office works, design development, and project execution.
• Ensure strict compliance with project specifications, industry standards, client requirements, and project timelines.
• Oversee the accurate measurement, monitoring, and control of all process variables within water and wastewater facilities.
• Support the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
• Manage, configure, and maintain SCADA systems to ensure reliable monitoring and control of plant processes.
• Integrate field instruments, PLC/RTU systems, communication networks, and control interfaces to support safe plant operations.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and multidisciplinary maintenance teams regarding process issues and operational optimization.
• Inspect electrical, mechanical, and process control systems to maintain optimal plant performance and minimize downtime.
• Prepare technical documentation, process reports, inspection records, and design reviews accurately.
