Garamut Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join its healthcare team in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care, ensuring compliance with medication safety standards, and delivering professional advice to patients and healthcare providers.

PHARMACIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Pharmacist.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, or a related field.
• Must possess a valid PRC Pharmacist License.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, medication management, and drug safety.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work professionally in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Compound, prepare, and dispense medications accurately based on physicians’ prescriptions.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.
• Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, dosage instructions, storage, and possible side effects.
• Monitor patients’ drug therapies and recommend appropriate interventions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and medication inventory.
• Ensure the safe storage, handling, and dispensing of medicines in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Comply with pharmacy laws, professional ethics, and company policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient care.
• Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned by the employer.
