United Motors Group Company is seeking skilled and experienced PDR Technicians (Paintless Dent Repair) to join its automotive service team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting vehicle body panels, removing dents without affecting the original paint finish, and ensuring vehicles meet company and manufacturer quality standards prior to delivery. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience in automotive body repair.
PDR Technician (Paintless Dent Repair)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician or in a similar automotive body repair role.
- Must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Automotive Technology, Auto Body Repair, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and paintless dent repair procedures.
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and body components to identify defects or damages.
- Ability to inspect vehicles thoroughly, including bending, kneeling, and walking around vehicles during inspections.
- Familiarity with company and manufacturer quality standards for vehicle inspection and repair.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Willing to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform paintless dent repair (PDR) on vehicle body panels using specialized tools and techniques while preserving the original factory paint.
- Inspect vehicles to identify dents, body damage, and cosmetic defects before and after repairs.
- Evaluate repair methods and determine whether paintless dent repair is appropriate for each vehicle.
- Use PDR tools and equipment to restore damaged panels to their original shape and appearance.
- Inspect mechanical, electrical, and body components to identify visible defects or damage that may affect vehicle quality.
- Ensure repaired vehicles meet company and manufacturer quality standards before release or delivery.
- Maintain accurate repair records and report any major damage requiring additional body repair or painting.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with final vehicle quality inspections when required.
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisors or management.
