Wet Wipes Machine Operator

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Others or a similar technical field.
• Previous experience operating wet wipes, tissue, non-woven, hygiene product, converting, or packaging machinery is an advantage.
• Knowledge of machine setup, operation, adjustment, and basic maintenance.
• Understanding of production processes involving cutting, folding, liquid dispensing, sealing, and packaging.
• Basic mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of product quality inspection and defect identification.
• Strong awareness of workplace hygiene and cleanliness requirements.
• Ability to follow machine operating procedures, production instructions, and safety regulations.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or extended production hours when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate wet wipes production and packaging machines according to production requirements.
• Prepare and check raw materials, non-woven fabric, liquid solution, packaging materials, and other supplies before production.
• Check machine settings, sensors, cutting systems, folding units, sealing systems, and other components before operation.
• Monitor machine performance throughout production to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
• Adjust machine speed, cutting, folding, liquid dispensing, sealing, and other settings as needed to maintain product quality.
• Monitor the application of liquid solution to ensure proper and consistent moisture levels in finished wipes.
• Inspect finished wet wipes and packaging for quality, moisture level, folding, cutting, sealing, labeling, and other defects.
• Ensure finished products meet established production, quality, hygiene, and packaging specifications.
• Identify defective products and report recurring quality problems to the supervisor.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and routine maintenance according to established procedures.
• Ensure production equipment is properly cleaned and maintained to support hygienic manufacturing conditions.
• Report machine malfunctions, breakdowns, unusual noises, leaks, or other equipment problems to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Assist maintenance personnel with basic troubleshooting and machine-related activities when required.
• Maintain accurate production, machine operation, and quality records.
• Monitor production output and help minimize material and product waste.
• Keep the machine, tools, production area, and surrounding workspace clean and organized.
• Follow company quality, hygiene, safety, and production procedures at all times.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating machinery and handling production materials.
• Perform other machine operation and production duties assigned by management.
