Qualifications:
- Degree or relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, credit notes, rebates, accounting, or finance is an advantage.
- Good understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and customer account reconciliation.
- Knowledge of credit note processing, rebates, deductions, and financial adjustments.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to review financial documents and identify discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and customer accounts.
- Prepare, process, and verify credit notes and rebate transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Review customer accounts to ensure invoices, payments, credit notes, and rebates are accurately recorded.
- Reconcile customer balances and investigate discrepancies or outstanding items.
- Coordinate with sales, commercial, finance, and other departments regarding credit notes and rebate requests.
- Verify supporting documents and approvals before processing financial adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer rebates, credit notes, deductions, and adjustments.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collection and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare AR reports, reconciliation schedules, and other financial reports as required.
- Ensure transactions are properly classified, recorded, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant AR documentation and records.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrections or adjustments.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.
- Follow company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable financial procedures.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
