FOOD SERVER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Applicants with TESDA NC II training are accepted.
• Previous experience as a Food Server, Waiter/Waitress, Dining Staff, or similar food-service position is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of customer service and basic food and beverage service procedures.
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Friendly, courteous, approachable, and service-oriented personality.
• Must maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance appropriate for a customer-facing food service position.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant or food-service environment.
• Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
• Able to follow instructions and established service procedures accurately.
• Responsible, reliable, hardworking, and attentive to customers’ needs.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide courteous and professional service.
• Welcome guests and assist them with seating or direct them to the appropriate dining area as required.
• Provide customers with food and beverage menus.
• Present drink menus and explain available beverage options.
• Answer customers’ questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and beverages.
• Take customer orders accurately and confirm special requests when necessary.
• Relay food and beverage orders promptly and accurately to the kitchen or bar.
• Deliver prepared food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Check orders before serving to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor customers’ needs throughout their dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, cashier, and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist coworkers during busy periods to maintain efficient and timely service.
• Maintain proper table setup, cleanliness, and organization of the assigned dining area.
• Clear used plates, glasses, utensils, and other items from tables when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in customer service and dining areas.
• Handle customer concerns politely and refer complex issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Follow restaurant service procedures, food safety standards, hygiene requirements, and company policies.
• Assist with basic opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude throughout the working shift.
• Perform other food service and customer assistance duties assigned by management.
