Cooper Standard is seeking skilled and reliable Operator (Setter) personnel to join its manufacturing team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up production machines, loading materials, performing basic machine and tool maintenance, and ensuring efficient production while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Operator (Setter)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Experience in machine operation, machine setup, and basic machine repairs.
- Knowledge of tool maintenance, tool repair, and inventory management.
- Ability to use measuring instruments for quality inspection.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Responsibilities:
- Load lightweight long tubes and other production materials into machines.
- Set up and adjust production machines to meet manufacturing requirements.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct tool repairs, maintenance, and inventory management.
- Release production after verifying machine settings and product quality.
- Use measuring instruments to inspect products and ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Report equipment malfunctions and production issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company policies, production procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
