Massage Therapist

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Massage Therapist.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Female applicants are preferred for this role.
  • Proficient in Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, or other therapeutic massage techniques.
  • Good knowledge of human anatomy, muscle groups, and therapeutic bodywork.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance with a caring, positive, and respectful attitude.
  • Physically fit and able to perform massage treatments for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform professional massage treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, and other approved massage techniques.
  • Conduct client consultations by reviewing medical history, identifying pain points or injuries, and discussing treatment goals or restrictions.
  • Recommend appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans based on individual client needs.
  • Apply massage oils, lotions, creams, and therapeutic products safely and effectively.
  • Monitor client comfort throughout each session and adjust pressure or techniques when necessary.
  • Provide guidance on post-treatment care, stretching, hydration, and wellness practices.
  • Maintain accurate client treatment records while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Clean and sanitize massage tables, equipment, tools, and treatment rooms after every client.
  • Replace linens, towels, and other supplies while maintaining a clean, organized, and relaxing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety standards.
  • Promote salon services and maintain excellent customer relationships through professional and courteous service.
  • Perform other wellness and salon-related duties assigned by management.
