Male Behavioral Therapist / Special Education Teacher
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Up to 40 years old.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or a related field.
- University degree, professional training, or specialization certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Special Education, or a related discipline is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with adolescents or adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, behavioral intervention techniques, and individualized education strategies.
- Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong classroom management, behavior management, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, flexible, and committed to improving the quality of life of individuals with special needs.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong documentation, observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit; height above 180 cm is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assess the behavioral, educational, and developmental needs of adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and educational programs based on client needs.
- Apply Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and evidence-based teaching strategies to improve learning and behavior.
- Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions to develop communication, social interaction, self-care, and independent living skills.
- Monitor client progress, collect behavioral data, and prepare accurate reports and documentation.
- Modify intervention strategies based on ongoing assessments and client progress.
- Manage challenging behaviors using positive behavior support techniques and crisis intervention strategies when necessary.
- Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, teachers, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide guidance and training to parents, caregivers, and support staff on behavioral management techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, educational materials, and therapy activities appropriate to individual learning goals.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, educational standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
- Foster a supportive, structured, and inclusive learning environment that promotes client independence and personal growth.
- Perform other duties assigned by management related to behavioral therapy and special education.
