Almarai Company โ Seafood Division is seeking an experienced Lead Process Operator to oversee daily seafood processing operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production activities, ensuring efficient processing operations, maintaining product quality, and enforcing food safety and hygiene standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and the ability to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Lead Process Operator
Qualifications:
- Relevant work experience as a Lead Process Operator or in a similar production supervisory role.
- Experience in the food manufacturing, seafood processing, or hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of food processing operations, production planning, quality assurance, and food safety standards.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to supervise production teams, manage workflow, and achieve production targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in preparing production reports and maintaining operational records.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily seafood processing operations to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Monitor processing activities, equipment performance, and production efficiency to maximize productivity.
- Ensure all seafood products are processed according to company quality standards, customer specifications, and food safety requirements.
- Lead and support production personnel by assigning tasks, providing training, and monitoring work performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of production areas, processing equipment, and work practices to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Monitor raw materials, product yields, and minimize waste throughout the production process.
- Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company food safety policies.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Production teams to resolve operational issues and improve workflow.
- Prepare daily production reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report production results to management.
- Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
- Ensure employees follow company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other production and supervisory duties as assigned by management.
