Barona Teollisuus Oy is seeking qualified and experienced Production Workers for an overseas manufacturing opportunity in Finland. The successful candidate will participate in the production of fiberglass-reinforced plastic products by preparing fiberglass materials, cutting them according to technical drawings, and accurately positioning them inside molds.
PRODUCTION WORKER (Plastic Industry)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with fiberglass or composite materials is an advantage.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to handle fiberglass materials accurately.
- Careful, accurate, and detail-oriented working style.
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual production work.
- Safety-conscious and able to follow workplace safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Stack and prepare fiberglass mats and other materials for production.
- Cut fiberglass materials according to technical drawings and production specifications.
- Use hand tools, including scissors and other approved cutting tools, safely and properly.
- Read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Position and fit fiberglass materials accurately inside molds.
- Ensure materials are properly aligned and prepared before the next stage of production.
- Inspect materials and completed preparation work for accuracy and quality.
- Follow established production procedures and quality requirements.
- Identify and report material defects, incorrect dimensions, or other production issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Handle fiberglass and composite materials according to workplace safety procedures.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment when handling production materials.
- Cooperate with colleagues and supervisors to maintain an efficient production process.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining consistent quality.
- Perform other production-related duties assigned by management.
