SILVA CZ s.r.o. is seeking qualified and experienced Trailer Truck Drivers for an overseas work opportunity in the Czech Republic. The successful candidate will operate heavy vehicles and trailers for the safe and timely transportation of goods while performing basic vehicle maintenance and complying with road safety requirements.

Trailer Truck Driver

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants only.
  • 23–45 years old.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Trailer Truck Driver.
  • Able to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of trucks and trailers.
  • Forklift experience is an advantage.
  • Experience operating a manual electric pallet truck is an advantage.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with international authorization for Personal vehicles up to 2.5 tons, Heavy trucks with C+E category eligibility/license.
  • Must be willing to complete driving school training in the Czech Republic and obtain a Czech Category C+E driver’s license.
  • Good knowledge of safe driving and cargo-handling practices.
  • Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
  • Physically fit and in good health.
  • Willing to learn new skills and the Czech language.
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trailer trucks and heavy vehicles for the transportation and delivery of goods.
  • Plan and follow assigned routes while complying with traffic laws and company procedures.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.
  • Check tires, brakes, lights, fluids, coupling systems, and other vehicle components before operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of trucks and trailers.
  • Properly connect, secure, and inspect trailers before departure.
  • Load, unload, and secure cargo safely according to company procedures.
  • Ensure cargo is transported and delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documents, trip records, and vehicle logs.
  • Report accidents, vehicle defects, mechanical problems, or other incidents promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicles.
  • Follow occupational health and safety procedures and proper cargo-handling practices.
  • Operate forklifts or manual electric pallet trucks when required and when properly trained.
  • Cooperate with warehouse personnel, dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Participate in required driving school training in the Czech Republic.
  • Follow Czech traffic regulations and company driving policies.
  • Perform other duties related to transportation and logistics as assigned.
