SAJA Pharmaceutical is seeking qualified and experienced Packaging Operators for an overseas work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations, ensuring products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality and safety standards.

PACKAGING OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Science or a related discipline, such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
• Vocational course graduate or TESDA-certified candidates may also be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry.
• Experience operating pharmaceutical packaging equipment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of production and packaging procedures in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with workplace hygiene, safety, and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices.
• Physically fit and capable of performing production and packaging duties.
• Reliable, disciplined, and quality-conscious.
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor pharmaceutical packaging machines and equipment according to approved procedures.
• Set up and prepare packaging equipment for production runs.
• Ensure packaging materials are properly prepared, identified, and available for production.
• Monitor packaging operations to maintain consistent production output and product quality.
• Perform visual inspections of packaged pharmaceutical products.
• Check product labels, batch information, packaging materials, quantities, and other required details for accuracy.
• Identify and report defective packaging, damaged materials, or production abnormalities.
• Follow approved production procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene within the packaging and production areas.
• Follow pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and workplace safety procedures.
• Complete production, packaging, inspection, and other required documentation accurately.
• Maintain packaging equipment and report machine problems or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and changeover activities between production runs.
• Handle pharmaceutical products and packaging materials carefully to prevent contamination or damage.
• Coordinate with production, quality control, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
• Meet production schedules while maintaining product quality and safety.
• Participate in required training and comply with company policies.
• Perform other packaging and production duties assigned by management.
