Alduco Engineering Services is seeking skilled Industrial Insulators to join the Onshore Electrical Turnaround (TAR) 2026 project in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and removing industrial insulation systems on piping, vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and process equipment while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in industrial insulation works within Oil & Gas, LNG, or Petrochemical facilities and demonstrate proficiency in at least two specialized insulation disciplines.
INDUSTRIAL INSULATOR
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial insulation.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Oil & Gas
- LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas)
- Petrochemical
- Must be proficient in at least two (2) of the following insulation specialties:
- Cryogenic Insulation – Foam glass, vapor barriers, anti-abrasive coatings, and low-temperature insulation systems.
- Hot and Cold Industrial Insulation – Heat exchangers, reboilers, condensers, vaporizers, process piping, and related equipment.
- Acoustic Insulation – Noise reduction insulation for piping, equipment, and industrial process systems.
- Complex Insulation – Insulation of valves, flanges, nozzles, elbows, tees, reducers, fittings, and irregular equipment.
- Strong knowledge of insulation materials, fabrication methods, installation techniques, and metal cladding systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, insulation layouts, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with industrial safety practices, Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights, in confined spaces, and in demanding industrial environments.
- Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, replace, and maintain insulation systems for piping, vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and process equipment.
- Read and interpret insulation drawings, isometric drawings, work packages, and technical specifications.
- Measure, fabricate, cut, fit, and install insulation materials to meet project requirements.
- Install and maintain cryogenic insulation systems, including foam glass, vapor barriers, and anti-abrasive coatings.
- Perform hot and cold industrial insulation on process equipment such as heat exchangers, reboilers, condensers, vaporizers, piping, and pressure vessels.
- Install acoustic insulation systems to reduce noise levels on piping, valves, compressors, pumps, and other industrial equipment.
- Fabricate and install complex insulation for valves, flanges, tees, elbows, nozzles, fittings, reducers, and irregular-shaped equipment.
- Install protective metal cladding and weatherproof jacketing to safeguard insulation systems from environmental conditions.
- Inspect insulation installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Repair damaged insulation and cladding during maintenance and turnaround activities.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure work is completed safely and according to project schedules.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure all insulation work complies with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
- Complete work reports and quality documentation as required.
