ELECTRICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as an Electrician.
- Must possess a valid NC II Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or an equivalent electrical trade qualification, as required by the employer.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Familiar with electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
- Must have valid NC II as this is required by the employer
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, electrical panels, outlets, and related electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and prevent electrical hazards.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults and equipment failures.
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper operation and compliance with applicable standards.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed in accordance with safety regulations, company procedures, and project requirements.
- Maintain electrical tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
