We are seeking an experienced Document Controller / QC Inspector to manage project documentation, quality records, and final turnover packages for the Onshore Electrical Turnaround (TAR) 2026 project in Malabo, Bioko, Equatorial Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate document control systems, ensuring compliance with quality management standards, and supporting QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in document control, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), Engineering Document Management Systems (EDMS), and Oil & Gas turnaround projects, ensuring that all engineering, construction, inspection, and quality documents are properly controlled, reviewed, and archived.
DOCUMENT CONTROLLER / QC INSPECTOR
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, Document Control, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of Document Control and QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Projects.
- Experience in at least 3 Turnaround (TAR), Shutdown, or Commissioning Projects as a Document Controller or QC Inspector.
- Most recent TAR project completed within the last five (5) years (2021 onwards).
- Experience with document control procedures for major International Oil Companies (IOCs) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete document control process for engineering, construction, QA/QC, and project documentation.
- Maintain document registers, transmittals, revision logs, and controlled document databases using EDMS platforms.
- Ensure all project documents are properly reviewed, approved, distributed, and archived in accordance with company and client procedures.
- Control document revisions and maintain accurate version history throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare, compile, and maintain final project turnover dossiers, quality records, and handover documentation.
- Verify that inspection reports, test records, certificates, and quality documentation comply with project requirements.
- Support QA/QC inspections by organizing inspection records, material certificates, and test documentation.
- Review engineering drawings, electrical and instrumentation documents, and technical submittals for proper document control compliance.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and client representatives regarding document submissions and approvals.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 documentation requirements and quality management procedures.
- Generate periodic document status reports, tracking logs, and project documentation metrics.
- Ensure confidential project information is securely managed and protected.
- Assist during client audits, quality audits, and project close-out activities.
- Perform other document control and quality coordination duties as assigned.
