CNC Wood Operator (Carpenter)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering (Civil); Engineering (Industrial) or similar fields.
• At least 5 years of experience operating CNC machines, preferably in woodworking or furniture manufacturing.
• Good understanding of CNC programming, woodworking processes, and machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance, safety procedures, and quality control.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce and repair wooden parts and components.
• Read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and production drawings.
• Measure and inspect finished wooden parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Adjust CNC machine settings and programs as needed to meet production requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and proper machine operation standards.
• Record production activities, machine settings, and completed work accurately.
• Ensure efficient production while minimizing material waste and machine downtime.
