General Aide
Qualifications:
- Female applicants only.
- Minimum 2 years of hospital-based experience as a Nursing Assistant or Nursing Aide.
- Must hold a TESDA Certificate in Healthcare Services or Caregiving.
- Hands-on experience assisting patients in a hospital setting is required.
- Experience supporting nurses and other healthcare professionals is preferred.
- Professional, compassionate, patient, and attentive to patient needs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically capable of assisting patients with mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
- Able to work effectively in a hospital environment and as part of a healthcare team.
- Responsible and committed to patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and basic care needs.
- Support patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal-care activities.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and movement within the hospital.
- Help nurses and other healthcare professionals with routine patient-care activities within the scope of the role.
- Observe patients and promptly report changes in their condition or unusual concerns to the appropriate nursing staff.
- Assist with serving meals and provide feeding assistance when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of patient rooms and care areas.
- Prepare and organize basic patient-care supplies and equipment.
- Assist with transporting patients safely using wheelchairs, beds, or other appropriate equipment.
- Follow infection prevention, hygiene, safety, and hospital procedures.
- Respect patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare staff.
- Provide attentive support based on individual patient needs.
- Perform other duties assigned by nursing supervisors or hospital management.
