Leather Repair Technician
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Basic knowledge of leather repair, restoration, cleaning, refinishing, and color matching.
- Experience repairing leather furniture, automotive interiors, bags, shoes, or similar products is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Able to work carefully and accurately with minimal supervision.
- Willing to learn different leather repair and restoration techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect leather products such as sofas, chairs, bags, shoes, and automotive interiors for damage, wear, and defects.
- Repair cuts, scratches, tears, burns, cracks, and other leather surface damage.
- Perform leather cleaning, restoration, recoloring, and refinishing.
- Match colors and finishes to restore leather products to their original appearance.
- Prepare leather surfaces before repair, coloring, or refinishing.
- Use appropriate tools, materials, and repair techniques according to the type and condition of the leather.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow proper safety procedures.
- Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
