Workforce Abundance Pty Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced Auto Electricians to work in Australia. The successful candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining automotive electrical and electronic systems to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Applicants must have four to five years of proven experience as an Auto Electrician, a valid driver’s license, and the required English language test results or a willingness to take the examination.

AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Must have four to five years of proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • Must have an existing IELTS or PTE English language test result.
  • Applicants without an existing IELTS or PTE result must be willing to take the examination.
  • Must achieve a minimum score of IELTS 5.0 or PTE 40, as specified by the employer.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, diagnostic procedures, and electronic components.
  • Experience using automotive diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults accurately and perform effective repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on automotive repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willing to follow the employer’s workplace policies, technical standards, and safety procedures in Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain automotive electrical and electronic systems.
  • Identify electrical faults using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and appropriate troubleshooting procedures.
  • Install, repair, and replace vehicle wiring, electrical components, and related accessories.
  • Diagnose and repair starting systems, charging systems, alternators, starters, and batteries.
  • Test and maintain vehicle lighting systems, including headlights, indicators, brake lights, and interior lights.
  • Inspect and repair fuses, relays, switches, connectors, wiring harnesses, and electrical circuits.
  • Diagnose faults in electronic control systems, sensors, and vehicle electrical modules.
  • Use diagnostic scanners, multimeters, circuit testers, and other automotive electrical equipment.
  • Repair and maintain electrical components in vehicles according to technical specifications.
  • Install and test automotive accessories and electrical equipment as required.
  • Inspect battery performance, charging capacity, and electrical connections.
  • Conduct electrical system tests before and after repairs to verify proper operation.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and repair instructions.
  • Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of diagnostic findings, repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines, workshop procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
  • Use tools and testing equipment safely and keep them in good working condition.
  • Follow workplace health and safety requirements and properly handle automotive batteries and electrical components.
  • Coordinate with mechanics, technicians, supervisors, and other workshop personnel.
  • Perform other automotive electrical repair and maintenance duties as assigned.
