HAIRDRESSER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Hairdresser.
• Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, Beauty Care, or a related field.
• Female applicants are preferred for this role.
• Skilled in hair cutting, coloring, chemical treatments, and hairstyling.
• Knowledge of different hair types, textures, and modern hairstyling techniques.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and artistic ability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work efficiently in a busy salon environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional hair cutting services using scissors, clippers, razors, and other salon tools for various hair types and styles.
• Provide hair coloring services, including full color, highlights, lowlights, bleaching, color correction, and toning.
• Apply hair treatments such as rebonding, keratin treatments, smoothing, deep conditioning, and scalp care services.
• Style hair through blow-drying, curling, straightening, braiding, and creating upstyles for weddings, parties, and special occasions.
• Consult with clients to determine their hairstyle preferences and recommend suitable cuts, colors, and treatments.
• Shampoo, condition, and prepare clients’ hair before styling or chemical services.
• Recommend professional hair care products and provide aftercare advice to maintain healthy hair.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, salon equipment, and styling tools by following proper sterilization procedures.
• Monitor salon supplies and report inventory requirements to management.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and client confidentiality.
• Follow company policies, health regulations, and workplace safety standards.
• Perform other salon and beauty-related duties assigned by management.
