Grapecare Limited is seeking an experienced General Warehouse Helper to support warehouse and logistics operations. The successful candidate will assist with pallet handling, loading and unloading trucks, forklift operations, preparation of materials for secure transportation, waste management, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Experience with SAP and electric counterbalance forklifts such as Linde is an advantage.
GENERAL WAREHOUSE HELPER
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Forklift license or forklift operating experience.
- Experience using SAP is an advantage.
- Experience operating electric counterbalance forklifts, such as Linde, is an advantage.
- Preferably male applicants.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform warehouse duties involving lifting, carrying, standing, and walking.
- Knowledge of safe pallet and material handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Responsible, hardworking, safety-conscious, and reliable.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, handle, and organize pallets in designated warehouse areas.
- Operate forklifts safely when qualified and authorized.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Transport and position materials, pallets, and goods within the warehouse.
- Prepare dunnage, spacers, and other materials used to secure loads during transportation.
- Ensure pallets and loads are properly arranged and secured.
- Assist with warehouse receiving, storage, and dispatch activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas.
- Manage and properly dispose of waste containers according to warehouse procedures.
- Assist with dispatch documentation and inventory-related tasks using SAP when required.
- Operate electric counterbalance forklifts, such as Linde forklifts, when qualified.
- Check warehouse materials and report damaged goods, equipment issues, or other concerns to supervisors.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other warehouse and logistics duties assigned by supervisors.
