Emdad Human Resources Company is seeking an experienced Inspection Team Leader to lead and supervise inspection personnel and ensure manufactured products comply with quality standards, engineering specifications, and Ministry of Defense requirements. The successful candidate will oversee inspection activities throughout the manufacturing process, monitor quality performance, manage non-conformities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates with expertise in precision measurement, engineering drawing interpretation, ISO 9001, NCR, CAPA, root cause analysis, and manufacturing quality control are encouraged to apply.
Inspection Team Leader
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality inspection or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and gauges.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work under pressure while meeting strict quality and production deadlines.
- Willing to comply with Ministry of Defense quality, safety, and security procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the daily activities of the quality inspection team.
- Plan, assign, and monitor inspection activities according to production schedules.
- Ensure raw materials, in-process components, and finished products meet specified quality requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, inspection criteria, and quality standards.
- Perform and supervise dimensional, visual, and other applicable inspection activities.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and gauges.
- Verify product dimensions, tolerances, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
- Identify and document product defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Prepare and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, machining, fabrication, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor inspection results and identify trends that may affect product quality.
- Ensure inspection procedures and quality documentation are properly maintained.
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement in inspection processes and manufacturing quality.
- Train, coach, and mentor inspection personnel.
- Ensure proper calibration and handling of inspection and measuring equipment.
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, and other required documentation.
- Monitor compliance with production and quality deadlines.
- Ensure inspection activities comply with Ministry of Defense quality, safety, and security requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
