Grapecare Limited is seeking an experienced Plastics Extrusion Line Operator / Collector to support manufacturing operations by collecting, inspecting, and stacking finished plastic distancing profiles (spacers) according to established production and quality specifications. The role involves monitoring product quality, assisting with extruder setup, removing defective materials, arranging finished products on pallets, and maintaining a safe and organized production area.

PLASTICS EXTRUSION LINE OPERATOR / COLLECTOR

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar position.
• Previous experience in plastics manufacturing, extrusion, production line operations, or product collection is an advantage.
• Preferably male applicants.
• Good physical fitness and strength to manually handle and stack products weighing approximately 10–15 kg.
• Able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify defective products.
• Able to follow production instructions and quality standards.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive production tasks.
• Responsible, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work effectively as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

• Collect finished plastic distancing profiles (spacers) from the extrusion production line.
• Inspect finished products for visible defects and ensure they meet required quality specifications.
• Check product quantities and ensure correct bundle arrangements.
• Stack and arrange finished products properly according to specified pallet layouts.
• Manually handle and stack products weighing approximately 10–15 kg.
• Assist operators with extruder setup and production activities as required.
• Remove defective or non-conforming products from the production line.
• Monitor production output and product quality throughout the shift.
• Report production problems, equipment issues, and product defects to supervisors.
• Assist with packaging and preparation of finished products for storage or shipment.
• Operate manual strapping equipment when required.
• Ensure products are securely bundled and properly arranged.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Follow production procedures, workplace safety rules, and quality standards.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
