Sawala Storage Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced General Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on the company’s buildings, facilities, and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to workplace safety and maintenance excellence.
General Maintenance Technician
Qualifications:
- Age: 25–48 years old.
- Master’s Degree is required.
- Must possess relevant training certificates or TESDA NC II (or equivalent technical certifications).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and general facility repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and workplace safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual maintenance work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, warehouses, offices, and facility equipment.
- Inspect electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, lighting systems, switches, outlets, and minor electrical equipment.
- Carry out plumbing repairs, including leaks, pipes, faucets, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on pumps, motors, conveyors, and other facility equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems as required.
- Repair doors, windows, locks, ceilings, flooring, walls, and other building structures.
- Perform carpentry, painting, welding, and minor fabrication work when necessary.
- Install, assemble, and replace facility equipment and fixtures.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and urgent repair requests.
- Perform other maintenance and facility support duties assigned by management.
