Hofmann Personal is seeking skilled Machine Setters (Injection Molding) to join a leading automotive manufacturing company in the Czech Republic. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality plastic components. This role requires technical expertise in mold changeovers, machine parameter adjustments, preventive maintenance, and quality control while maintaining strict compliance with manufacturing and workplace safety standards.

Machine Setter (Injection Molding)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Maximum age: 35 years old.
• First-time overseas applicants only (no previous overseas work experience).
• Minimum height: 165 cm.
• At least 1–2 years of experience as an Injection Molding Machine Setter, Injection Molding Technician, Machine Setter, Or a similar manufacturing position
• Experienced in setting up, adjusting, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Skilled in Machine changeovers, Mold installation and removal, Machine parameter adjustments, Product quality inspection
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and the ability to identify and report machine problems.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
• Physically fit and willing to work rotating shifts.
• Familiar with manufacturing quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
• Able to understand basic English work instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare injection molding machines for production according to work orders and production schedules.
• Install, remove, and change molds safely and efficiently during machine changeovers.
• Adjust machine parameters, including temperature, pressure, cycle time, and injection settings, to achieve optimal production results.
• Operate injection molding machines and monitor production performance to ensure consistent product quality.
• Inspect molded products for defects, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machine faults, molding defects, and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic machine servicing.
• Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance requirements, or quality concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel.
• Maintain production records, machine settings, and quality inspection reports.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of molds, tools, and production materials.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturing guidelines, and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area using 5S workplace practices.
• Work closely with production supervisors, quality inspectors, and maintenance teams to achieve production targets.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and product quality.
• Perform other production and machine operation duties assigned by management.
