FOOD DISPATCHER/ CHEF DE PASS
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required.
- Proven experience in high-end casual dining, premium dining, or fine dining establishments.
- Strong understanding of fine dining sequence of service and food presentation standards.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong knowledge of food quality, order accuracy, timing, and service coordination.
- Ability to remain organized and work effectively under pressure during busy service periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to service quality.
- Professional, confident, and effective in communicating with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or premium hospitality establishments is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Check food quality, presentation, portioning, and order accuracy before service.
- Coordinate closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and waitstaff to ensure timely food delivery.
- Organize and prioritize food orders during busy service periods.
- Ensure all dishes are complete, properly presented, and served at the correct temperature.
- Monitor the sequence and timing of dishes to maintain smooth and efficient service.
- Communicate special requests, dietary requirements, and order modifications accurately to the kitchen team.
- Coordinate multiple orders and ensure proper timing between kitchen and front-of-house operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food safety standards in the pass area.
- Inspect completed dishes before releasing them to the service team.
- Ensure dishes meet the restaurant’s quality and presentation standards.
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies and service delays promptly.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with chefs, waitstaff, supervisors, and other team members.
