We are looking for experienced Process Operators (Mechanical) to join a reputable employer in Belgium. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes, preferably within the flour milling or food production industry.

FLOUR MILLER/PROCESS OPERATOR (MECHANICAL)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Operator or Production Technician in the food industry, preferably in flour milling
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills with basic electrical knowledge
• Experience in machine setup, changeovers, parameter setting, and process monitoring
• Ability to monitor and adjust production parameters such as temperature, speed, and efficiency
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and machine part replacement
• Ability to read and follow production schedules, work instructions, and operating procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good understanding of safety, quality, and hygiene standards in a manufacturing environment
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• Technical Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and continuous manufacturing processes
• Set up machines, perform changeovers, and adjust operating parameters according to production requirements
• Monitor production performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize product quality and efficiency
• Perform routine inspections, mechanical troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairs
• Carry out preventive maintenance and replace worn or defective machine parts as needed
• Follow production schedules, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
• Maintain accurate production records and promptly report equipment issues or process deviations
