Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) is seeking a qualified Equipment Maintenance Electrical Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of electrical systems and equipment used in terminal operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient port activities in accordance with company maintenance standards and operational requirements.
Equipment Maintenance Electrical Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in electrical maintenance.
- Preferably with experience in port, terminal, shipping, heavy equipment, or industrial operations.
- Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for electrical systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with power distribution systems, motors, generators, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Experience supervising electrical maintenance personnel and coordinating maintenance activities.
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical maintenance technicians and support personnel.
- Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for terminal equipment and electrical systems.
- Monitor the performance and reliability of electrical equipment to minimize operational downtime.
- Inspect electrical installations, control systems, motors, generators, and power distribution networks to ensure proper operation.
- Assist in diagnosing complex electrical and control system faults and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff.
- Ensure maintenance work is completed according to company standards, schedules, and safety requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation of repair and inspection activities.
- Coordinate with operations and other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to terminal operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, electrical components, tools, and maintenance materials.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and quality assurance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, electrical system performance, and maintenance efficiency.

To serve a broader range of customers and cargo types, RSGT offers Multi-Purpose Terminals (MPT) services through a dedicated business unit that manages non-containerized cargo across four strategic locations on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. The portfolio spans Jeddah Islamic Port (integrating general cargo and Ro-Ro into a single multi-purpose facility), King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu, Yanbu Commercial Port, and Port of Jazan, adding roughly 13.4 km of quay and 3.3 million m² of operational area. Across these sites, RSGT handles general cargo, dry bulk, liquid bulk, Ro-Ro, project/heavy-lift cargo, and livestock. A planned SAR 1.6 billion upgrade program will modernize infrastructure, equipment, and digital systems and introduce energy-efficient technologies.
