King Long Technology (SuZhou) Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing operations in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring equipment performance, maintaining production machinery, resolving equipment alarms, and ensuring smooth machine process changeovers. Candidates with semiconductor manufacturing experience and knowledge of AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), welding torch microscopes, or related equipment are highly preferred.

EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
• Experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection), welding torch microscopes, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, or related systems is an advantage.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Experience in machine yield monitoring, alarm processing, and machine process switching.
• Basic Chinese communication skills are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor on-line machine yield and equipment performance to maximize production efficiency.
• Respond to machine alarms by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving equipment issues promptly.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare machines and production lines for process switching and product changeovers.
• Inspect, calibrate, and optimize equipment to ensure stable production and consistent product quality.
• Analyze equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Coordinate with production, process, and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records, technical documentation, and service reports.
• Assist in equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and process validation activities.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements to enhance productivity and manufacturing yield.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, operating procedures, and quality requirements.
• Perform other equipment engineering duties assigned by management.
