PRODUCT ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production engineering, and quality control principles.
  • Experience in yield monitoring, process troubleshooting, and engineering support is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze production data and perform root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and production systems is preferred.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related software.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor on-line machine yield and production performance to ensure manufacturing targets are achieved.
  • Analyze production data and identify trends affecting product yield and process efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve online system exceptions, equipment issues, and production abnormalities.
  • Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.
  • Assist customers with engineering support, technical inquiries, product validation, and process improvements.
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI), product qualification, and engineering change implementation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for product defects and process failures, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering documentation, and process improvement recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and customer specifications.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and improve product reliability.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase production yield, efficiency, and product quality.
  • Perform other engineering duties assigned by management.
