Footmark Private Limited is seeking a customer-focused and reliable Sales Person (Shop) to assist customers, promote products, and support daily retail operations in the Maldives. The successful candidate will provide courteous customer service, answer product inquiries, handle cash and POS transactions accurately, and help maintain an organized and welcoming shop environment.
SALES PERSON (SHOP)
This Sales Person job in the Maldives is a good opportunity for Filipino applicants with retail, sales, cashier, or customer service experience. Candidates with strong communication skills, basic cash-handling knowledge, and a customer-oriented attitude are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Female applicants preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Polite, friendly, and customer-oriented personality.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling money and calculating change.
- Ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
- Able to answer customer questions regarding product prices, uses, and features.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Professional and presentable appearance.
- Able to work effectively in a retail or shop environment.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer customer questions about product prices, uses, features, and availability.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Explain product information clearly and accurately.
- Process customer purchases and operate the cash register or POS system safely.
- Handle cash, payments, and customer change accurately.
- Maintain accurate sales and transaction records.
- Assist with checking, arranging, and replenishing merchandise.
- Keep shelves, displays, counters, and the sales area clean and organized.
- Monitor product availability and report low-stock items to the supervisor.
- Handle customer concerns and inquiries professionally.
- Follow company policies, cash-handling procedures, and store safety standards.
- Assist with inventory checks and other shop-related activities.
- Perform other sales and customer service duties as assigned.
