Emergency Nurse

Qualifications:

• Professional License (Registered Nurse) is required.
• Female applicants are preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department or acute care setting.
• Strong experience in managing emergency, trauma, and critically ill patients.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency nursing procedures, patient assessment, and clinical decision-making.
• Ability to handle complex clinical situations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and mentoring skills.
• Committed to delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining patient safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and critical health conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritize care using triage principles, and monitor patient progress.
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments safely and accurately.
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures, resuscitations, trauma management, and life-saving interventions.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies while maintaining patient safety and clinical excellence.
• Manage complex clinical cases and provide appropriate interventions based on evidence-based practice.
• Support efficient workflow within the emergency department by ensuring proper utilization of resources.
• Mentor, guide, and support junior nurses and newly hired staff in clinical practice.
• Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and patient-centered care.
• Promote infection prevention, quality improvement, patient safety, and operational excellence.
• Support the implementation of the JHAH Nursing Professional Practice Model and contribute to strategic nursing initiatives.
• Perform other nursing duties assigned by nursing leadership.
