ELEVATOR / ESCALATOR INSTALLER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-rise elevator or escalator installation projects.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience with elevator and escalator brands such as TKE (Thyssenkrupp Elevator), OTIS, Schindler, Mitsubishi, Fuji, Hyundai, Hitachi, or similar manufacturers.
- ITI, Vocational Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Proficient in elevator and escalator installation methods, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret arrangement drawings, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, workplace safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Familiarity with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, alignment, and equipment testing procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot installation issues and perform corrective actions when required.
- Physically fit and capable of working at heights and in construction environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary installation team.
Responsibilities:
- Install elevators, escalators, and related components according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturer requirements.
- Assemble and install guide rails, brackets, machine units, doors, platforms, escalator trusses, and associated mechanical components.
- Perform electrical wiring, connections, and installation of control systems and safety devices.
- Read and interpret arrangement drawings, wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and project documentation.
- Conduct alignment, leveling, and adjustment of elevator and escalator systems to ensure proper operation.
- Perform testing, inspection, and commissioning activities to verify equipment functionality and compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and resolve installation issues, defects, and technical problems during project execution.
- Ensure all work complies with company quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, contractors, and site personnel to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain installation tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
- Prepare installation reports, inspection records, and project documentation as required.
- Follow all safety procedures, permit requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) policies at all times.
- Support project completion schedules while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.
