Lazudentis Digital Dental Laboratory is seeking a skilled Dental Technologist (CAD/CAM) to design and produce high-quality dental restorations using advanced digital dentistry technologies. The successful candidate will utilize CAD/CAM software, 3D printing systems, and 5-axis milling machines to create precise crowns, bridges, implant restorations, custom abutments, and full-arch prostheses while ensuring exceptional quality, accuracy, and patient satisfaction.
DENTAL TECHNOLOGIST (CAD/CAM)
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) License as a Dental Technologist or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in a digital dental laboratory or CAD/CAM environment.
- Highly proficient in dental design software such as Exocad, 3Shape, or similar CAD/CAM systems.
- Expert in designing crowns, bridges, implant restorations, custom abutments, and full-arch cases.
- Proven experience operating and calibrating 3D printers and 5-axis milling machines.
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, esthetics, restorative materials, and implant prosthetics.
- Knowledge of digital workflows, intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM manufacturing, and laboratory production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently while meeting production deadlines and quality standards.
- Willing to work in Saudi Arabia and comply with company policies, laboratory protocols, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Design dental restorations using CAD/CAM software such as Exocad, 3Shape, or equivalent platforms.
- Create digital designs for crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, implant restorations, custom abutments, and full-arch prostheses.
- Review digital scans and prescriptions from dentists to ensure accurate case planning and restoration design.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain 3D printers and 5-axis milling machines for the production of dental prosthetics.
- Prepare digital files for printing and milling while ensuring optimal material usage and production efficiency.
- Perform quality inspections on completed restorations to verify accuracy, fit, esthetics, and functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot CAD/CAM software, printing, and milling issues to maintain consistent production quality.
- Collaborate closely with dentists, dental technicians, and laboratory staff to achieve optimal restorative outcomes.
- Maintain digital case records, production documentation, and laboratory workflow systems.
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Follow infection control protocols, laboratory safety procedures, and quality assurance standards.
- Stay updated on advances in digital dentistry, CAD/CAM technologies, and restorative materials.
- Assist in improving laboratory workflows and production efficiency.
- Perform other laboratory and technical duties assigned by management.
