Job Location: Mozambique
Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is looking for a highly motivated Cost/Planning Engineer to support the planning, scheduling, and cost control functions of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, monitoring progress, preparing cost forecasts, and providing performance analysis to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in project planning, scheduling, or cost engineering.
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of project planning, scheduling techniques, cost control, and earned value management (EVA).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Prepare project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), baseline schedules, and project execution plans.
- Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance against approved baselines.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, earned value analysis (EVA), and project performance reports.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to collect project progress data. - Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support project cost control activities by monitoring budgets, expenditures, and project forecasts.
- Prepare periodic planning and cost reports for management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
- Perform other planning and cost engineering duties as assigned.
