Cooling Technician – Facility Cooling
Qualifications:
- Male applicants.
- Diploma, High School graduate, or holder of a Field Training Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC), HVAC, or a related field.
- Completion of recognized training or certifications in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance, preferably in 5-star hotels, restaurants, catering facilities, or commercial buildings.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, and maintenance documentation.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical control systems and building electrical systems is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems, including air-conditioning units, cold rooms, freezers, chillers, refrigeration plants, and ventilation systems.
- Install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, and commission refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders, service calls, and emergency equipment breakdowns.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment defects and prevent unexpected failures.
- Perform air-balancing, refrigeration system testing, performance monitoring, and calibration of refrigeration controls.
- Repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, fans, motors, thermostats, sensors, and associated mechanical and electrical components.
- Monitor refrigeration performance to ensure compliance with operational, food safety, hygiene, and temperature control standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, wiring schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, equipment histories, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with operations and other departments to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety procedures, cybersecurity requirements, environmental regulations, and Saudi Labor Law.
- Perform other HVAC and refrigeration maintenance duties assigned by management.
