Grapecare Limited is seeking skilled and experienced Cooks to join its hospitality team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards while maintaining an organized, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.
The ideal candidate has professional cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting and is committed to delivering consistent food quality and excellent kitchen operations.
COOK
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Cook in a full-service restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Professional cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining food quality.
- Experience operating hot and cold kitchen stations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, season, and cook a wide variety of menu items according to standardized recipes, portion sizes, and quality specifications.
- Operate both hot and cold kitchen stations efficiently during food preparation and service.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to company quality standards.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in stock rotation to minimize food waste and maintain freshness.
- Practice proper portion control and implement measures to reduce food wastage.
- Wash dishes, kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, and maintain cleanliness of workstations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies and kitchen inventory.
- Perform opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned.
