AIS Global Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Bridge Repair Specialist to support bridge construction, repair, and maintenance projects in Australia. The successful candidate will perform concrete repair and restoration work, interpret construction plans and specifications, and ensure all work is completed safely and to high-quality standards. Candidates with at least 3 years of proven concreting experience are encouraged to apply.

BRIDGE REPAIR SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Concreter.
• Experience in concrete repair, construction, maintenance, or related work is highly advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of concrete preparation, placement, finishing, and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Good knowledge of construction safety procedures and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit with the strength and stamina required for demanding construction work.
• Able to work outdoors and in varying site conditions.
• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform concrete repair, restoration, and maintenance work on bridges and related structures.
• Prepare surfaces for concrete repair by cleaning, removing damaged material, and preparing the work area.
• Mix, place, compact, and finish concrete according to project specifications.
• Repair cracks, spalling, damaged concrete, and other structural surface defects.
• Install and repair concrete components as required for bridge maintenance projects.
• Read and interpret design plans, technical drawings, and construction specifications.
• Measure and prepare materials according to project requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and correctly.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper quality, finish, and compliance with specifications.
• Follow established construction methods, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Work safely around traffic, elevated structures, heavy equipment, and other construction hazards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and serviceable condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, tradespeople, and other construction workers.
• Report construction issues, defects, safety concerns, or material requirements to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
• Perform other bridge repair, concreting, and construction duties as assigned.
