People Inc. is seeking skilled and experienced Bus Mechanics to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on buses and transport vehicles. The successful candidate will ensure vehicles are operating safely and efficiently while following industry safety and maintenance standards.

Bus Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the same field.
• Must have good English communication skills.
• With relevant hands-on experience for the position applied for.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure when required.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain buses and related transport vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance services including engine, brake, transmission, suspension, and electrical system checks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and operational standards.
• Replace defective parts and components as necessary.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and transport regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other mechanics and operations staff to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
